KRIMMER--Lee Albert, DDS. Age 77, of Oradell, NJ, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the Brighton Gardens Assisted Living Center in Paramus, NJ. Dr. Krimmer was born in Brooklyn, NY and attended Brooklyn College. He was a 1949 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Navy Dental Intern program in Bethesda, MD from 1949-1950. He was the youngest dentist at one time in the U.S. Navy. In 1953, he received his degree in orthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. He was a practicing orthodontist in Oradell, NJ from more than 50 years. He was active member of the Lions Club in Hackensack, NJ and was a member of the Third District Dental Society. Dr. Krimmer had also been an active member of the Marine Corps Reserve. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Sanford Krimmer and his wife, Gloria, of Albany, NY. He also leaves nieces, Sharon Mitchel and her husband, Elliot, Cindy Taylor and her husband Rick, and his nephew, Marc Krimmer. Great-uncle of Joshua Taylor, Randy Taylor, Andrew Mitchel, Rebecca Mitchel and Dina Nechama Krimmer. Dr. Krimmer was predeceased in June by his longtime partner, Jane Davis, of Oradell, NJ. Services at the Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway, Fairlawn, NJ on Monday, October 31, 2005 at 12 noon. Interment Mount Judah, Ridgewood, NY.
I remember him telling stories about growing up in Hoboken along with that skinny kid who couldn't sing....Frank Sinatra. Does anybody else recall that?
